This is my first spiritual reflections post for my Spiritual Reflections section. These are some of the reflections and points of highlight which came to me as I read Isaiah chapters 5 & 6. More reflections to come!
5:11, 22 Woe to those who rise early in the morning to run after their drinks, who stay up late at night till they are inflamed with wine. Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions of mixing drinks.
6:9-10 Far be it from me to be ever hearing, but never understanding, to be ever seeing, but never perceiving…to have a calloused heart, ears that are dull, and eyes that are closed.
5:21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.
5:13 Therefore my people will go into exile for lack of understanding.
6:10 Lord, help me to see with my eyes, to hear with my ears, to understand with my heart, so that I may turn and be healed!
6:7 When God touches you, the filthy is made clean.
Thanks Aaron
